"Daddy, I want to watch a movie."
"Sure, Liam, which movie?"
"The bunny movie."

Is it too much to hope that they will always get along this well?
Here is Liam on my computer (aka: mommy's pomputer). I put up with the sticky mouse and fingerprinted screen because he has so much fun playing on it, and I even catch him learning from time to time.
Over the past six months or so, he has become increasingly proficient at computing. It's actually a little bit scary. Not only can he manipulate the mouse like he was born with it in his hand, he can open up Firefox (two clicks on the orange marble), go to the bookmarks menu, select the specific website he wants to visit from the list of "his" sites (there are eight of them) and then navigate around to the games, videos, and other features. When he gets bored, he simply selects another site and away he goes.
Sometimes the games involve math or reading, which are a bit beyond his reach at this time, but with a little help he does just fine. I'm sure Lily will take to it just as easily. And then they can both teach me.

Bath time is such fun! Lily likes to dunk her face into the bubbles.
A portrait of Lily, by Sarah.
We got to go to Sarah's birthday party today and it was great! The boys had a lot of fun playing with the cars and trains, and the girls had a lot of fun just hanging out.
As you likely know, Lily has had an interesting hairstyle pretty much since she was born. First it was sort of fuzzy, then it was all sticky-uppy, and now it's pretty long in the back (to the point where Nana is threatening with the scissors). Aunt Cathy solved everything with a simple scrunchy.
Changes her whole look, really. And makes her ever so much more like her hero, Sarah. Even Nana has sheathed the scissors for the time being.
We like the pony tail. I think we'll be doing that again.
Happy Birthday, Sarah, and thanks for the party!
